Sweet Cheeks Vegan Bakery was created in 2009 by Liuba Grechen, animal rights activist, environmentalist, and lifelong vegetarian. Liuba transitioned from vegetarian to vegan two years ago and promptly went through dessert withdrawal. Her years of vegetarianism did not prepare her for the absolute lack of delicious sweets not prepared with eggs, milk, and butter, and she began experimenting with recipes. After many batches and interesting flavor concoctions, she has mastered the art of the delicious All Natural, All Vegan, Compassionate Cupcake.
